REQUIRED CONSTRUCTION PERMITS Updated:

A City permit is required for any work or
closure to City streets, parking, or sidewalks. The permit
application is linked below. Jeanie Alexander, the City Traffic
Engineer, is the contact person to obtain this permit. She can be
reached at 970-3720 or
alexanderj@charlottesville.org. As shown on the permit
application a minimum of one week is required. The
General Conditions require the contractor to obtain this permit -
see Section 3e.
