Bavaro Hall will provide new office, meeting and clinic
space for the Curry school. Currently, many of the
faculty and staff are scattered off-site. The new spaces
will bring a sense of community to the Curry school by
allowing them to be housed within one complex. The new
design brings improvements to the clinical and research
spaces.
The esthetic quality of the Curry school complex will be
elevated as the new building will face Emmet Street,
sitting in front of Ruffner Hall. The building, which
will be 64,149 square feet and 4 stories high, will
be connected to Ruffner Hall by a covered colonnade
creating an inner courtyard between the two buildings.
Building
construction is slated to be complete by March 2010.
