This project was an upgrade to the Central Grounds Chiller System Plant. Upgrades to the system included one (1) new 1200‐ton electrical centrifugal chiller, placed in the basement mechanical area in Bryan Hall, two (2) 600 ton cooling tower cells placed in the current Central Grounds tower area, and a new condenser water pump system. The project utilized the exiting hydronics system and cooling tower enclosure. The schedule is critical to accommodate the planned increased loads for the South Lawn project.
