Ruffin Hall is home to the Studio Art program of
the McIntire Department of Art. Studio spaces were
created to
provide for painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture,
paper making, digital art and photography. A gallery,
faculty offices and seminar rooms are housed in
the building.
Ruffin Hall is a three story, 42,000 gsf building, with grade level
entrances to each floor due to the steep slope on which
it will be constructed. There is a major entrance
to the top floor from Bayly Road on the east, a second
floor linkage with Campbell Hall on the west, and a
primary entrance to the lower floor from Culbreth Lane
on the north side.
