DESIGN INFORUM 98

Facilities Planning & Construction staff discussed construction and project management with over 200 attendees of this first-time event at the University on July 15. Representatives from 116 Virginia-based architectural and engineering firms and 2 other firms attended. The informal forum setting gave firms an opportunity to meet FP&C staff, market their abilities and learn more about how to be selected for design work at UVA. INFORUM also provided an opportunity to meet old friends as well as to make new ones. The attending firms also used the INFORUM as an opportunity to "network" with other firms. The event was considered by all to be a great success.
