The INFORUM series of events, sponsored by the Facilities Planning & Construction Department, are intended to provide a forum where architectural, engineering and construction professionals can meet informally, exchange information and learn more about each other and the planning, design and construction process at the University of Virginia.

The first of these events,  DESIGN INFORUM 98, was held on July 15, 1998 and was open to A/E firms. The second, CONSTRUCTION INFORUM 99, was held on January 13, 1999 and was open to contractors. It is our intention to continue to host at least one of these INFORUM events annually, alternating between Design and Construction.
